It is now a listed building, the beamed bar has a large inglenook fireplace, which gives a warm welcome on any day! The charming restaurant seats up to 50 people, and it can be booked for functions or parties, or you can have a cosy table for two (or more). The extensive blackboard menu changes regularly, depending what is in season, but you can always find delicious home cooked, local food, served in pleasant surroundings.The five comfortable en-suite bedrooms have been tastefully decorated, and offer single, double and family accommodation. Each room has a welcome tea tray, Tv with freeview, hairdryer and free WiFi. The Blue Boar, is nestled in the peaceful village of Great Ryburgh, but only five minutes from the historic market town of Fakenham. It is local Pensthorpe Nature Park ( seen on BBC Springwatch) and many stately homes including Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Hall. Beautiful beaches and marshes are but a short drive away!

The Blue Boar Inn is approximately 3 miles from the town of Fakenham.Turn off the A1067 (Fakenham - Norwich road) at the Stibbard Ryburgh junction or off the B1146 (Fakenham Dereham road) at the Colkirk Ryburgh junction, you will find the Blue Boar opposite St Andrew's church.
